SICILY. Syracuse. Dionysios I, 405-367 BC. Hemilitron (Bronze, 16 mm, 3.42 g, 9 h). Female head to left, with her hair bound by an ampyx in the front and a sphendone in the back; behind, olive leaves. Rev. ΣYPA Dolphin swimming to right above scallop shell. CNS II, 24. HGC 2, 1480. SNG ANS 416. The obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
